  • Easy Steps to Authentic Mysore Sambar

    Step 1: Cook Dal and Vegetables
    Pressure cook toor dal with water and mixed vegetables until soft.

    Step 2: Prepare Paste
    Grind coconut with KOKO Fresh Sambar Powder into a smooth paste.

    Step 3: Temper Spices
    Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and a pinch of KOKO Fresh Hing.

    Step 4: Sauté and Combine
    Add the coconut-sambar paste, sauté for 2 minutes, then add the cooked dal, vegetables, tamarind pulp, and salt.

    Step 5: Simmer and Serve
    Boil for 8 minutes, let it rest, and serve hot for an authentic Mysore-style sambar.
